Britt’s civil litigation practice focuses on employment law. She advocates for the enforcement of employees’ rights to receive overtime pay, minimum wage, and other compensation. Britt’s practice also focuses on anti-trust law, litigating cases involving fraud committed upon the government. She also advocates for consumers’ rights through the enforcement of violations of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA).

Britt started her career in Des Moines, Iowa, working with the Iowa House of Representatives and the Iowa Homeless Youth Centers. In 2008, she joined Teach for America as a charter member of the Kansas City Corps. During her two-year tenure, she worked as a teacher and curriculum writer for the Kansas City Missouri School District and completed her master’s degree. She now calls Kansas City her home town. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
